And now we’re taking our first baby steps to introduce you to the spirits world! No not that one…it’s not Halloween yet…. We are introducing the “Hard Stuff Tasting Pavilion.” Check it out…just a taste of things to come…taste some exciting hard liquors as well!

Nowhere else can you sample such an extensive, diverse sampling of craft beers, meads and ciders, in one place at one time! Learn which craft beers, meads and ciders are your favorites. Next time you’re in your favorite local liquor store or craft beer bar you will be well prepared to sort through the staggering array of craft offerings! Much better then spending thousands of dollars and hours to duplicate the tasting experience and education found at the NYC Craft Beer Fest! Tons of tasting samples available for one low ticket price! Meet one-on-one with industry experts and Cicerones in the Craft Concierge Center and attend interesting and informative seminars. Shop retail vendors, games and Great food to ignite your tasting freedom.

Jimmy Carbone

Restaurateur, Entrepreneur, Producer
Jimmy Carbone is a NYC-based restaurateur, dedicated social entrepreneur, and event producer. As owner of Jimmy’s No. 43, an East Village bar and restaurant, Jimmy has worked with many local, regional and international brewers, distillers and vintners to bring together a focus on unique beers, artisan spirits, NY State wines and a seasonal menu at Jimmy’s No. 43.  

Seminars are scheduled for: 8:30 pm Friday October 14th, 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm Saturday October 25th.

In addition, Jimmy is the founder of Food Karma Projects, a creative producer of food and media events throughout the New York area. In 2009, Jimmy helped launch The Good Beer Seal, which exists to identify bars offering an intriguing selection of craft beer in a unique atmosphere created by owner/operators who exhibit a deep commitment not only to the promotion of craft beer but to their community as well. For five years, the Good Beer Seal has received an official proclamation from the NYC Mayor’s office, designating July as the “July Good Beer Month.” Additionally, Jimmy is the host of the popular podcast, Beer Sessions Radio™ on the Heritage Radio Network, which will soon air its 350th episode and is regularly among the top 10 food-related podcasts (on iTunes and other major download platforms). Jimmy is also the co-author of an e-cookbook, I Like Pig: Recipes and Inspiration from New York City’s Pig Island, which was a finalist for the IACP Book Awards©.

Who can I contact if I have a question about the festival?

What are the Craft Beer Festivals?

The NYC Craft Beer Festival is a craft beer tasting from approximately 75 breweries and 150 craft beers, focused on seasonal and NY selections.

Where is the event being held?

The event is being held at the Lexington Avenue Armory

What does the ticket include?

All tickets will gain entry into the venue for at least 2 1/2 hours of unlimited beer tasting. All attendees will receive a complimentary souvenir tasting glass and have access to the Craft Concierge Center. VIP ticket holders will be given an extra hour and first access to the event. Please take good care of your tasting glass as we will not be issuing extras to those who break them!

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets typically range from $45-$85 depending on the ticket type. Please visit our TICKETING page directly.

How many people will be in attendance?

Each session will hold approximately 1,200 people.

If I go to one session, can I stay for the 2nd session?

You must have separate tickets to go to both sessions. Each session is separately ticketed and at the end of the first session all attendees clear out in preparation for the next session.

Will there be a coat/bag check?

Yes, we will have a coat check option for a small fee.

Are backpacks allowed?

Yes, although any backpacks, bags, packages, purses, gym bags, etc. brought into the venue will be subject to search by security personnel. We strongly suggest that you only bring what you need, keeping the number of bags to a minimum.

Is there parking?

There are several parking garages/lots near the Armory.

Are children allowed?

No. The event is 21+ only.

Can I buy beer at the event or bring empty or full bottles home with me?

Absolutely NO beer can be removed from the festival site nor is it offered to be purchased. By law, all alcohol must be consumed in the festival site only. Taking empty bottles out of the festival is illegal. This is considered an open container. Open containers are not permitted on city streets or in an automobile.

Is there a DDP (Designated Driver Program)?

Yes, we sell Designated Driver Tickets at $25 per person. This just allows entry into the venue but no alcohol service.

Is food included in the ticket?

Food is NOT included in the GA/VIP ticket, however there will be great food for sale that will pair well with beer!

Can I bring my own food or beverages into the festival?

No. Any bags will be checked upon entering. If food or beverages happen to be discovered, you will need to dispose of it prior to entering.

Are there ATM's available at the event?

Yes! Please remember most items for sale at the event will be cash only.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, no pets allowed.  Service animals will be allowed as permitted by Federal law.
